6 top sirloin steaks, 1" thick  ·
2 tablespoons oil ·
2 tablespoons butter or margarine ·
3/4 cup water or broth ·
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce ·
1 tablespoon parsley ·
1/2 teaspoon steak seasoning ·
1 1/2 teaspoons flour ·
salt and pepper, to taste ·

Sprinkle steaks with pepper and set aside. In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the flour and stir until it browns a bit. Add water or broth very carefully so that it does not become crumbly. Add worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, parsley, and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. Melt butter and oil together. Add the sirloin. Let brown on both sides, approximately 5 minutes, turning once. Place in a serving dish and cover with the warmed sauce.

This is such an easy and delicious recipe to prepare, that I make it for lunch or dinner quiet often. It tastes delicious with either rice or mashed potatoes au gratin.
